Без чогось до дев’ятої ранку 11 вересня Джім О’Рурк спав на канапі у вітальні студії Echo Canyon – за відсутности постійного помешкання студія слугувала йому за домівку. Хоч він і чудово знав, яка грюканина могла звучати в Нью-Йорку, ніколи не чув він бабаху подібного на цей, що вирвав його зі сну. Виглянувши у вікно, він побачив потік людей, що линув від будівлі навпроти по вулиці, та працівників будмайданчика поблизу, які позадирали голови в небо.
